An inaugural release from veteran Napa winemaker Wayne Donaldson. The wine is a blend of Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, and shows the modern signature of ripe, smooth tannins and rich blackberry, cassis, chocolate and cedar flavors. Delicious now, it should hang in there for six years. - S.H.
